Over the years Paolo’s more than achieved his goal. He makes our bestselling Chianti, always great value, but also crafts high-end Chianti and Super Tuscan wines. The family estate lies in the beautiful Rufina hills, a small area close to Florence that was making wine before even the Classico region. His vineyards lie at 300 metres on sloping galestro soils, which, along with cool nights, promote intense flavour. Aged in new oak, this is a rich, full red.
