Sending wine as a present online with Laithwaites couldn’t be easier.

• Choose your wine gift and select ‘add to basket’. 
• Go to your basket and select ‘checkout’. 
• Select your shipping address which must be in the UK (add a new one of you need to). 
• Add a free case label message or choose a paid for greetings card and add a message (for £1.99) 
• Select ‘Continue’ and choose shipping method. Next day and named day are available for address in mainland UK for a small extra charge. 
• Pay using your chosen method (Credit or Debit card, Apple Pay, GPay or PayPal). 
• We’ll take care of the rest!

Delivery date for wine gifts depends on the option you choose. We offer:   

• Standard delivery. Arrives in 2-3 business days to most of mainland UK. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland and other remote areas may take 4-10 working days. 
• Next day delivery. Orders must be placed before 4pm, Monday to Friday. 
• Named day delivery - choose a delivery day that suits you best. 
• Pallet Delivery - for any orders of 10 or more cases (or 100 bottles) to single address. Please contact our team at gifts@laithwaiteswine.com or call us on 03330 142 766 if pallet delivery is required.  

• Due to local regulations, we cannot deliver food hampers or gift-boxed items to Northern Ireland. 
• Due to age-restriction laws, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes or Hospitals. 
• Unfortunately, we cannot offer Named day or Next working day service for delivery to the Highlands, some other areas of Scotland, islands and Northern Ireland. 
• Unfortunately, we do not currently deliver to the Channel Islands BFPO or the Republic of Ireland. 
• Please note – delivery date for hampers may vary, as they may be supplied by a partner supplier.

Great news! Standard delivery is included in the price for most of our gifts range (look for the term "Free Delivery" in the product name). This excludes Champagne, spirits & hampers, where standard delivery cost is £7.99 per address.

Yes, you can send a wine gift card. We offer two options: 

Wine E-voucher, by email: The ultimate last minute wine gift. Choose the amount from £10 to a maximum of £1,000, add the name of your recipient and your message and we’ll ping your wine e-voucher free of charge right over. 
Please note: Email delivery will be made once payment has cleared (which may take up to 24 hours). 

Wine Gift card by post: Add the excitement of receiving a gift through the post with a Wine Gift card. Choose from a range of card wallets to suit your occasion. The costs of delivery for Physical Gift Cards will be as displayed  on our website. We’ll send your card the next working day after you order by First Class post. 
Please note: Gift cards cannot be sent to or redeemed from the Channel Islands, BRPO or the Republic of Ireland.  Gift Cards may not be used to pay for storage charges, any subscription service offered by Laithwaites including Laithwaites Unlimited, Laithwaites wine Subscription, Premier and Gold..

Please take care when entering your or your recipient’s address as Laithwaites is unable to resend a Laithwaites Gift Cards where an incorrect email address or postal address has been provided.  In the event you have entered an incorrect email address or postal address, please call Gift Card Customer Services on 03330 142 766.

Yes – you can add a greetings card to your wine gift (choose from a selection of designs), or simply add a short message to the label. 

The card or message options will appear when you are at checkout. 

Greetings cards are priced at £1.99 and hold a message of up to 200 characters (no special characters or emojis). 

You can also choose to add a free-of-charge case label message of up to 100 characters.

If a gift fails to satisfy, for whatever reason, we'll arrange to collect it and refund you or replace the wine. It’s that simple.   

Any replacements due to incorrect address or recipient refusing the gift may incur an additional delivery charge of £7.99 (£9.99 for Next Day/Special Day/Saturday delivery).

The cut-off for Christmas delivery varies by our different delivery methods.

Standard Delivery:
Order by midnight Friday 20th December.

Next Day Delivery:
Order by 4pm Sunday 22nd December

Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland:
