It showcases Australia’s best loved red grape, Shiraz – a bolder, riper take on France’s Syrah. Priory Hill isn’t a hefty wine for laying down, it is crafted to be a very versatile and tasty glassful. Using parcels of grapes from a variety of vineyard sites, it combines ripe fruit with a bite of freshness and lots of smoky vanilla spice, which all adds to its moreishness. An ideal red for a barbecue, it’s great with a range of everyday suppers too.
