How can I buy a Laithwaites Gift Card?

UK customers (excluding Channel Islands and BFPO) can purchase our Gift Cards at laithwaites.co.uk/gifts or you can purchase them from one of our stores. You can find your nearest store here . We welcome business orders of 10+ Gift Cards.

How many Gift Cards can I buy at once?

You can purchase a maximum of 10 Gift Cards in one go, perfect if you need to buy for several family members or friends.

What values can I place on a Laithwaites Gift Card?

You can purchase a Gift Card with any value from £10 up to a maximum of £1000.

Where can I use my Gift Card?

Gift Cards can be used online at laithwaites.co.uk, via our telephone order line 03330 148 168 and in our stores. Please note we may not be able to accept Gift Card payments at our off-site events.

What can I buy with my Gift Card?

You can use your Gift Card to purchase most items from Laithwaites, but not where a future payment is needed such as Wine Subscriptions, Pre-sell and En-Primeur orders. Please note we may not be able to accept Gift Card payments at our off-site events.

How do I pay with my Gift Card?

You can pay with your Gift Card by entering your card number and PIN at the check-out stage of any online purchase, by giving the card details to one of our telephone advisors or by presenting it to a member of staff in one of our stores. Our Gift Cards can be used for both full and part payment.

How do I check the balance on my Gift Card?

You can check your balance here or within one of our stores.

What is the difference between a physical Gift Card and a digital Gift Card?

We offer a choice of both digital and physical Gift Cards.

Our digital cards are great when you want the convenience and speed of delivery by email. You can choose the date and time that they are sent and whether they go to yourself or your gift recipient. There is no delivery cost for sending digital Gift Cards.

Physical Gift Cards can be ordered online to be delivered by post. They are credit card sized recyclable cardboard cards and you can select a greetings card from our range of occasions. We also include an envelope. You can choose to send your Gift Card to yourself or direct to your gift recipient. We do charge a fee for sending physical Gift Cards, to cover the additional cost of the included greetings card and postage (see below for applicable rates).

How quickly will my order be despatched?

Digital cards can be sent immediately or at a later date/time of choice, just as soon as payment has been verified, which should only be a few minutes. You will receive a confirmation email following an order and when the digital Gift Card has been sent. Should there be any issues with payment authorisation, our Customer Services team will contact you.

Orders for physical Gift Cards placed by midday, Monday to Friday, will be despatched the same day. Orders placed after midday or at the weekend or on bank holidays, will be processed the next working day. All orders for physical Gift Cards are sent Royal Mail 1st class. Orders can also be upgraded, at additional cost, to use Royal Mail’s Recorded (Tracked) delivery service or their Special Delivery service (Tracked, Next Day, weekdays only, for orders placed by midday).

Where will I find my Gift Card number and PIN?

Our voucher numbers are 16 numerical digits in length with an 8 digit PIN number, for added security. For digital Gift Cards, follow the link found in the delivery email, enter your email address for security and your card number and PIN will be displayed. For physical Gift Cards, the card number is displayed on the back of your Gift Card. Simply scratch off the panel to view your eight-digit PIN number.

When will my Gift Card expire?

Your Gift Card is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.

What happens if my Gift Card is lost, damaged or stolen?

Please look after your Gift Card as we cannot accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged cards. All our Gift Cards have a cash value and should be safeguarded as such.

Can I buy Laithwaites Gift Cards in bulk?

CashStar is a platform used for the distribution of Laithwaites Gift Cards. The platform is wholly owned by Blackhawk Network (Europe) Limited, a partner of Laithwaites, that allows consumers to securely order, send and receive Laithwaites Gift Cards.
