Buronga Hill Shiraz 2014
If you asked any wine buff which red grape turned us ‘poms’ onto Aussie wine, they would definitely say Shiraz. People love its fruit, its weight and its ‘more please’ drinkability – and the Buronga Hill team has delivered all of these in spades.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
Here’s a no-nonsense drop that’s sure to make you drain your glass fast and leave you crying out for more. It’s a classic Aussie Shiraz from the talented team at Buronga Hill in Mildura in the heart of the Murray Darling region. They’ve been making wine here for years and have a passion for producing the type of wines people simply love to enjoy at home with their family and friends. Winemaker Thomas Jung was actually born in Germany, but moved Down Under as a child. His father happened to be mates with the late great Len Evans – a huge figure in Aussie wine – who encouraged Tom to study wine. The bug caught and the rest is history. His Shiraz is hugely versatile. You can enjoy it on its own or with steaks, roasts or the midweek ‘spag bol’.
