The Beer
Wiper and True are an exciting craft ale project that began in Bristol back in 2012. The team are brewers without a brewery, working in partnership with like-minded local brewers happy to lend any spare space, advice and expertise. It seems to be working as the team have an impressive selection of finely crafted, innovative ales, which offer aficionados and novices alike a thoroughly satisfying draught of ale. They are always experimenting and that’s how Milk Shake came about. The aim was to produce a luscious, creamy style stout with notes of cocoa and vanilla. They took an old Bristolian recipe and gave it a unique twist, adding copious amounts of vanilla pods and cacao nibs to the brew. This is a rich malty stout, a most satisfying drop.
