The Wine
Promontory represents the Harlan family's most ambitious project – an untamed hillside vineyard bordering the Mayacamas. The 2019 vintage is a striking expression of place, offering blackcurrant, plum, graphite and wild herbs. Vinified with native yeasts and aged in Austrian oak casks, it’s powerful but never overextracted. Estate director David Cilli and winemaker Cory Empting craft a wine that’s textural, intense and layered, with decades of potential. A bold Napa statement from one of California’s most visionary teams.
