Plantation Barbados Rum XO 20th Anniversary NV

Crafted from an assemblage of fine rums, all aged between 12 and 20 years old, this is a fitting tribute to 20 years of rum from Cognac’s Maison Ferrand. In 1989, their champion blender Alexandre Gabriel came across some very old vats of rum and was so impressed he decided to do a special bottling. So the Plantation range was born. The rums in this special cuvée were created from distilled molasses, left to mature and develop in used Bourbon casks in the humid Bajan heat. The casks are then shipped to the Charente where they’re transferred to Cognac casks, the finest of which are assembled into this limited edition. Richly exotic, with an enticing sweetness and a beguilingly spicy complexity, this is Caribbean rum at its very finest.
