Nicolás Catena Zapata 2018
Catena is like the Lafite of Argentina, producing some of its finest wines. Named after the founder, Dr Nicolás Catena, this is their very finest red, featuring exceptionally high-grown Cabernet centre stage, with Malbec. A very fine, ageworthy red.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

Jancis Robinson MW wrote, "Nicolás Catena Zapata is justly credited with putting Argentinean wines on the world map — by focusing entirely on quality." The estate was founded in 1902, but it was 3rd-generation Nicolás Zapata, who made the step change to focus entirely on fine wines. His three children continue their father's great legacy, astounding the world with their top wines that rival the world's best. First made in 1997, this top cuvée uses grapes from 'Grand Cru' Gualtallary and Paraje Altamira.
