The Story Behind the Bottle
Located in the Var department of Provence, this exceptional estate was first planted in the 17th century. In modern times, it rose to fame when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie purchased it in 2009. They brought in the world-renowned Perrin family to make the wine and it hit its stride on its first release in 2012. This very beautiful estate has 32 hectares of prime, organic vineyards, planted on stone terraces rising up to 350 metres altitude. Cooling sea breezes and the height of the vineyards lends this delicious pink dazzling finesse. It's made from the classic grapes of Provence – Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle (another name for Vermentino) and Syrah. Chill, but don't overchill, and serve solo or with fine seafood or creamy goat's cheese salad.
