But even the best estates occasionally find themselves with a vat or two surplus to requirements – perhaps after a bumper harvest, cancelled export order, or the need to clear space for the next vintage. That’s when our Buyer Ben springs into action, snapping up the goods before anyone else gets a look-in. We get a great deal … with the condition that we keep the estate anonymous. This is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon, bursting with vibrant gooseberry, fresh-cut grass, and juicy tropical notes of guava and passion fruit. Zesty, mouthwatering and oh-so refreshing, it’s a superb aperitif and a great match for chicken or pork.
