Chile first wowed us with its silky, pure fruit Bordeaux style reds, then showed us it could do just the same with crisp whites too. The wines seem to perfectly straddle the middle line between the elegant restraint of the Old World and the bright fruit exuberance of the New! Lanya is a new releases from Chile's pristine Central Valley. Ripened by the brilliant sunshine, the handpicked grapes are taken from various plots over a number of weeks to gain the right balance of fruit and freshness. Fermentation at a low temperature in the modern cellar further enhances the bright character of this white. Chill the wine down and serve as a refreshing glass on its own, or with grilled white fish, spicy prawns, salads or a goat's cheese dish.
