L'Épiphanie de Bordeaux Blanc 2021
Bordeaux AOP

We reserve our L'Epiphanie label for very special Bordeaux wines when we can't reveal the source. What we can say is that it's from a First Growth estate. You'll recognise the class as you open the bottle – gorgeous fruit intensity and freshness.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
Our buyer Jean-Marc is Bordeaux, born and bred, so unsurprisingly he has exceptional contacts throughout the region. He's a popular man, so when there's some terrific wine that needs shifting, he gets to hear first. He was quick off the mark with this gorgeous white – it's a beauty from a vintage that turned out particularly well for white wines. We can't tell you which illustrious château it's from, but it is First Growth and only three out of five of the First Growths make a white wine, so it won't take much detective work! It's pure Sauvignon Blanc, picked at the peak of ripeness, with remarkable intensity of lush fruit, creamy weight and mineral freshness. A luxurious dinner party white. Only gently chill – superb with fine seafood.
