Top vintage of one of the best village Pulignys, from vines grown just below the Premier Cru Les Referts. It has all the hallmarks of fine white Burgundy – luscious and ripe with yellow peach, pear and floral notes and underlying minerally freshness.

The Wine
Domaine Génot Boulanger was founded in 1974 by Parisian pharmacist Charles-Henri Génot and his wife, Marie, when they started exploring the terroir and purchasing parcels along the Côte d’Or. Now the estate is run by fourth generation vignerons Guillaume and Aude Lavollée. All wines are produced from vineyards owned by the domaine across 30 appellations, including three Grands Crus and 13 Premiers Crus. They are in the process of converting to organic and biodynamic farming, believing this will make the wines even more expressive. Where possible, they use horses to work the soil. This fine wine comes from vines immediately downhill from Premier Cru Les Reflets, and quality was extremely high in 2015. Enjoy with fine white meat dishes.
