Arcadia Odrysia Narince 2015

Arcadia is the vision of Ozcan Arca and his daughter Zeynep Arca Salliel, who studied winemaking at California’s renowned UC Davis. They founded Arcadia in 2004 in the Kirklareli region within Thrace, 60 km from Istanbul, the aim always to produce top quality, terroir driven wines using sustainable viticulture. Judging by the international awards scooped every year since their first release, 2010, they are succeeding. And in 2016 Zeynep won a Women Entrepreneur of the Year award. They employ two top wine consultants as well – these guys are serious about quality, which you’ll note when you taste their delicious Narince. True to this native grape, the wine has bright stone fruit with an underlying minerality. Superb solo or with white meats.
