The path to glorious wine is sometimes tough. RedHeads winemaker Alex T thinks of it as working with nature to maintain the whip-hand against life's setbacks. And there are plenty! For this bold Cabernet, he liberated exceptional parcels of grapes nurtured by top growers at vineyards in the Barossa and the cooler Eden Valley. Both sites produce awesomely concentrated fruit, handled at RedHeads’ Barossa cellar with all the meticulous care you’d expect. You need nerve and dedication to take risks and make great wine: get it wrong and you lose it all. Get it right and you create great beauties like this rich, velvety, dense red, enhanced further by a little oak ageing. Throw a steak on the barbie and crack open a bottle of this dashing wine.

"Another good one. I have always liked the Whiphand. Nice balance, fruity & long finish" Online Review
