Your order will be delivered in 2-3 days. Usually delivered between 07:00 & 21:00. During busy times delivery may take a little longer & split deliveries could be more likely. Applicable delivery times will be advised on the web site when you place an online order. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, some other areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland and offshore islands may take a few extra days.

Please note: Next Day and Named Day delivery service is subject to availability. While we always aim to provide you with the best possible service, we may need to disable these services at times when capacity is not available.

When available, Named day (Monday to Saturday) and Next working day delivery is charged at £9.99 per address, regardless of how many cases are being sent.

We can deliver on the next working day if you order before 4pm on a weekday (or on Saturday if you order before 4pm on Friday).

Unfortunately, we cannot offer Named day or Next working day service for delivery to the Highlands, some other areas of Scotland, islands and Northern Ireland.

The following post codes do not have the option of Next working day or Named day delivery: AB10-56, BT, DD6-11, EH35-46, FK18-21, HS, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW, KY9-16, PA20-80, PH5-50, PO30-41, TD1-14, TR21-25, ZE.

Free delivery applies within the UK when your purchase includes any 24 (or more) bottles, magnums or half bottles in a single order and is for our standard delivery service to a single UK address only. Please note that: (i) free bottles count toward the bottle threshold;however (ii) sundries (e.g. tea, bottle openers, glasses or other merchandise), bottle gift sets including sundries and an advent calendar of itself do/does not count towards the bottle threshold, but will be delivered free if the relevant order includes 24 (or more) bottles. Offer of free delivery does not apply to subscription or En Primeur orders. Regardless of the number of bottles ordered, if you request our named day or timed delivery services, you will be charged the rate displayed in the Delivery Information section of our Site.

Click & Collect via our stores: 

When you place an order on the website, if your delivery address is within 30 minutes travelling time of one of our stores or concession stands, you will have the option to request that we deliver your wine to that store for you to collect. The store will contact you when your order is ready to pick up. Your order will be kept for upto a month, if your order is not collected it will be refunded. There is no delivery charge for Click and Collect orders to our stores. Please allow up to 6 working days for collection. If you would like a more accurate delivery date please contact your local store directly. We also provide a Call and Collect service, please contact your local Laithwaites store by phone or email to arrange an order for collection at your convenience.

For deliveries to mainland UK your order will be delivered by Yodel. Deliveries to the Highlands and islands may be delivered by a third-party carrier.

You can arrange to have your wine delivered to any UK address (excluding the Channel Islands). Unfortunately we are not able to deliver to Hospitals, PO Boxes or to BFPO addresses.

Returning your wine is as easy as ordering. All we'll need is your account details and where you would like us to collect it from. Contact us to find out more.

Our collections take place within 48 working hours of booking, if any collections fail, please get in touch and we will be happy to rearrange for a more suitable day.

Due to the unique nature of en primeur sales our 100% guarantee applies only to an en primeur wine where it is corked, damaged or faulty.

We confidently guarantee every bottle we sell: if a wine fails to satisfy, for whatever reason, we'll arrange to collect it and refund you or replace the wine. We understand it can be tricky to order wine just by a description; which is why we have our 100% guarantee. If you aren't happy with a bottle don't pay for it, just contact us to let us know.

When choosing your delivery address please select a safe place for your order to be left. You can select one of our options from the drop-down list or specify your own. Please always make sure that your safe place is sheltered from the elements and concealed from public view. Our carriers will not leave a case where they feel it is not safe.

If you do not have a safe place for your order to be left, please select the option “No safe place. Hand to Customer or Neighbour’ and an image will be taken of your order being delivered.

Any orders over £500 with automatically be placed on a Proof of Delivery service and a photograph will be taken of delivery to the recipient or neighbour.

If you are placing an order for 10 or more cases to one address, please contact us to arrange a bulk delivery.

To help with your deliveries please provide a mobile phone number to receive updates regarding the status of your delivery.

We also highly recommend the Yodel Parcel Tracker app to keep track of your order. The app will send a delivered image directly to your device and you can receive push notifications at every step of your order’s journey. You can also add your What3words to give your precise location – great for hard-to-find addresses. The app will also let you take a photo of your safe place location for your delivery address in case you are not home during delivery.
