Since then, the family has been at the forefront of the country’s wine industry, becoming the first winery to bottle their wines entirely under screwcaps and committing to produce wines sustainably.
The Gold-medal 2025 vintage Wakefield Heritage Riesling is a vibrant and refreshing white wine, bursting with youthful aromas of citrus and lime, with hints of tropical fruit and rose petals. The palate is zesty and bright, packed with lemon tart, honeydew melon, tropical fruit and marmalade flavours, with a sherbet-like freshness. Great with grilled fish and creamy chicken dishes, or as a glass on its own.
