Familia Zuccardi rank among the country’s most respected wine producers. They have won Top Value Brand of the Year three times from Wine & Spirits magazine, and in 2016 second generation José Alberto won a Lifetime Achievement award. His son Sebastián was recently named Decanter’s No.1 Winemaker of South America. Alberto Zuccardi founded the business in Mendoza in the 1950s. It started out as an irrigation company. Then in 1963 Alberto planted a vineyard to show how his watering system could benefit grape quality, and so launched the family wine business – now one of the most awarded in Argentina.
