Islay's Bruichladdich prides itself on connecting land with dram, in the pursuit of making very fine malts. While their original label whiskies are unpeated; Port Charlotte is boldly so. Taste that in this beautifully balanced, creamy 10-year-old.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

The Spirit
There are nine distilleries on the small island of Islay, and Bruichladdich, behind the Port Charlotte name, is the third smallest. Yet they are also the largest private employer of local people. They firmly believe that Islay is so much more than a style – it's a provenance, a community that needs support, so wherever they can their whiskies use Islay barley, always Islay water and the processes are done there too. Their Port Charlotte label prides itself on its strong peaty flavours, a characteristic of Islay, along with an iodine tang of the sea. This rich, bold-tasting 10-year-old invites you in with its creamy toffee notes, bold peatiness, raisin richness, all balanced by fresher grassy, orange and candied lemon notes. One to savour.
