Plainas Rosé Espadeiro 2024
Never heard of Espadeiro? It’s a grape unique to Portugal’s Vinho Verde and Spain’s Galicia. This pink is made by one of the country’s top winemaking names, Anselmo Mendes. Granite soil lends this rosado’s delicate berry fruit a bright mineral edge.

With thick dark skins, the Espadeiro  juice is quickly whisked off its skins to lend colour, but not tannins. Crisp, fragrant and lightly herbal, it makes a top aperitif as well as being excellent with seafood, salads or light meat dishes.
