Classico is the original and most prestigious Chianti zone, first recognised for quality in 1716. The Taddei family’s Lornano estate in the Castellina hills make this superb, 97 point, satin smooth wine purely from Sangiovese, oak aged for 12 months.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.

But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

After a year in French oak and time in bottle, the wine is ready now. Complex notes of ripe berries and spice with a fresh finish make it ideal with classic Italian cuisine such as wild mushroom risotto or saltimbocca.
