The Spirit
Husband and wife team Red and Kate Johnson founded Highball Cocktails at the end of 2019. Red’s upbringing and background is in drinks, being the son of revered wine writer Hugh Johnson and in charge of a drinks export business. Add Kate’s 20 years of marketing and brand building experience and they surely had a recipe for success. Kate has recently been named one of 2022’s most inspiring female founders by Small Business Britain’s f:Entrepreneur campaign. Their vision was to create alcohol-free, ready-to-drink interpretations of classic cocktails, no matter what the reason for cutting down on alcohol. The classic Gin & Tonic is a time-honoured favourite. Masterfully mixed with aromas of juniper, quinine bite and a citrus twist. Refreshing.
