The Wine
In 2013 and 2015 Gusbourne were winners of the ‘English Wine Producer of the Year’ Trophy, so it’s little surprise their wines are in high demand. Winemaker Charlie Holland honed his skills in Australia and the US, and the cooler climes of Germany and New Zealand. So he knows exactly how to nurture the classic Champagne grapes to make an elegant fizz from Kent! The Brut Réserve is made from all three of Champagne’s traditional varieties, but the predominance of Pinot Noir means the fizz has lovely ripe berry fruit, and savoury notes, along with finesse and minerality. Charlie blends in a small percentage of oak aged wine to give warmth and complexity, and ages the whole blend for over two years on its lees. A superb fizz for any occasion.

An English fizz which really shows its class. Ripe fruit, vivacity and toasty length. Delicious
