The Wine
This bright and lively white pays homage to the beautiful creature that inspired it. Fire was born a carriage horse. Watching this high-spirited, tenacious animal that radiated life was heart-warming. Such was her wild nature that she could never be put under harness. Nowadays, an old photo of Fire and her foal sits on the mantlepiece in the winery’s tasting room. Visitors can picture her unbridled joy with this zippy, expressive Sauvignon. Many of the grapes hark from the valley of wine and roses, Robertson, which offers some of South Africa’s best vine growing areas. A hot sunny climate results in healthy ripe grapes and fruit-filled wines. Fermented ultra cool, this crisp white packs in flavour. Great solo or with gently spiced curry.
