The Wine
Duemani (two hands) is the masterpiece of Elena Celli and wine consultant Luca D'Attoma. They had a vision to produce the finest wine, all organic and biodynamic, from Tuscany's prized Maremma region. 8km from the sea and nearly 300 metres high, their vineyards transformed the rugged landscape of rural Riparbella into prized, rolling vineyards. At the top of the slope they have Cabernet Franc, lower down is Merlot and the jewel in the middle is Syrah, all on poor, rocky, well-drained soils. More recently they've added Grenache. Blessed with a constant breeze and pure sunlight, the grapes reach perfect ripeness, from which they make a small range of 5-star wines. CiFRA is their Cabernet Franc, very pure fruit, with the structure for ageing.
