Le Chai Winemaker and Sauvignon specialist, Jean-Marc Sauboua, has won Trophies and Golds galore for his Bordeaux whites. It's no surprise then that his latest release – this 2018 Château Saint Jean – does not disappoint! Lovingly crafted, it's a superb blend of select parcels of two classic Bordeaux white varietals: Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. The result is a beautifully balanced blend of bright gooseberry and ripe tropical fruit, with structure and a subtle honeyed character. Elegant and satisfyingly long on the finish, it typifies the style for which Bordeaux Blanc is now renowned. Versatile and deliciously drinkable. We recommend enjoying Château Saint Jean chilled, as an aperitif or with salads and creamy cheeses.
