The Wine
This beautiful Côtes de Provence estate was acquired by Gabriel Farnet in 1936 and totally replanted once the family had drawn breath after WW2. Such was the quality of the wines they were making that, in 1955, Château Minuty was one of only 23 estates awarded Cru Classé status. In 2022, the fourth generation of the family – Anne-Victoire – joined her father, Jean-Etienne, and Uncle François and a year later they have attracted investment from the luxury brand LVMH. The special château vineyards lie in the maritime-influenced Saint-Tropez peninsula, which ensure supreme elegance in the crisp berry fruit. A superb classic of Provence, with its delicately nuanced strawberry fruit, minerality and savoury spice length. A rosé to savour.
