In 2015, Burgundy's “red wines are truly great", "extraordinary” (Decanter). You’ll taste that in the glorious silky berry fruit complexity of this Pinot Noir from IWC's 2015 Winemaker of the Year from the tiny 700 year old Château de Dracy.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
The noble house of Albert Bichot has won much praise for their fine Burgundies – in 2013 they were awarded ‘White Wine Producer of the Year’ at the prestigious IWC, while Wine Advocate wrote: “They are making extremely fine wines.” And, rarely for Burgundy, the wines also offer great value. Over a century ago, Bichot started working with Château de Dracy, a Côte de Beaune property dating back to 1298. It was built as a military fortress by the Duke of Burgundy, while the still functioning winery and cellar were constructed in 1728. Rigorously selected Pinot Noir, carefully fermented, with a portion oak aged, this is a appealing silky red, particularly fine in this 5-Star vintage. Great with sauced white meats or a wild mushroom dish.

Lovely example of Pinot Noir. Smooth with good body, benefits from breathing, if you can wait
