This three-times Gold-medal Sauvignon is a must-try. It's from the Tarn Valley, SW France, home to the ancient white wine of Gaillac. Made by revolutionary winemaker Jean-Noël Barrau, it's bright and citrusy with delicate pear and apple fruit.
We're sorry, this wine is sold out.
But don't worry, you'll find plenty more handpicked wines here.

The Wine
The Tarn Valley lies just southwest of Bordeaux (no wonder it's so good for Sauvignon). It was one of the first places the Romans planted their vines. They recognised the hillsides as ideal for vine growing. In fact, the Gauls had discovered that ages before them. On this historic ground, pioneering young winemaker Jean-Noël Barrau is today making exciting wines at the Rabastens cellar in the Gaillac region. He's found that bright sunshine and cooling Atlantic winds are ideal for the Sauvignon grape. So good, this vintage won three Gold medals. Bright and lemony with delicate pear and apple notes, it makes a lovely glass on its own. Jean Noël also recommends it with baked seabass, grilled prawns and other seafood. Chill down and enjoy.
