The Spirit
Bedrock founder Vince Wilks had always loved the magical landscapes of the Lake District he’d discovered as a young man. In 2008 he returned to the region and decided to capture its enduring beauty and purity in a gin. He worked with his master distiller to perfect a blend of spirit and botanicals, and Bedrock London Dry Gin is the multi award winning result. It includes botanicals juniper, angelica root, liquorice, lemon, orange, coriander and, most important of all, Cumbrian kiln-dried oak bark. This is the superb Export Strength version of the original. It has a bolder style which brings out a clearer juniper and citrus thread within the smooth spirit. Very enjoyable simply over ice or mixed with the finest tonic and a garnish of basil.
