Sunday Bay Reserve is a new premium version of this customer favourite, made only in exceptional vintages. The 2017 growing season had its challenges: wind, rain and earthquakes! But the resulting small crop was perfect, with an exciting range of flavours. The style this year is marked by passion fruit ripeness and a vivacious leafy freshness. If you’re a Marlborough aficionado you will recognise the wine’s ‘leap from the glass’ gooseberry and cut grass aromas and generous tropical fruit notes. It’s made by a terrific family winery and one of the first to be established in Marlborough, 30-plus years ago. Chill the wine down and enjoy as a glass on its own or with seared salmon or a spicy prawn stir-fry. It’s a party wine par excellence too!
