Flavour Profile
A new arrival from New Zealand’s beautiful Hawke’s Bay region, Seismic Pinot Gris is an intensely fruit white wine made by talented winemaker Nicolas Culemme.
Starting his winemaking career in 2005, at Le Centre du Rosé in Provence, Nicolas worked harvests in both France and New Zealand for years, before permanently settling in New Zealand in 2017.
Why Seismic? Hawke’s Bay has been recognised as one of the 12 best wine regions in the world, but it’s also the most earthquake prone region in New Zealand. It lies along the North Island’s fault line and is regularly shaken up by the shifting plates.
Seismic Pinot Gris is bold and bright, with juicy tropical fruit, intense pear and apricot ripeness and zippy freshness. Enjoy it chilled, alongside summer salads, grilled chicken or light pasta dishes.
