The Spirit

Based in leafy Chiswick, Sipsmith were the first new copper distillery to open in London for nearly 200 years. They produce a range of exciting, award winning spirits. This is their newest invention, inspired by the orange and lemon infused gins that were made in London in the 1930s. This, of course, has the Sipsmith twist to it. Jared Brown is the wizard master distiller behind the blend. He teamed up with Sam Galsworthy and Fairfax Hall, two friends from Cornwall who back in 2007 decided to bring traditional London gin back to the city. They were granted a distiller’s licence in 2009, met Jared at a Negroni party and Sipsmith was born. They started with one still and now have three. This lemony release is great neat or in a cocktail.
