The Wine
The rise of English sparkling in the last years has been phenomenal. Leading the field has been the Laithwaite family - first Barbara Laithwaite with Wyfold, then her son, Henry, at Harrow & Hope. Both have a great track record of awards since the start. She planted her first vines in 2003 and now has two hectares. A decade later, her first release, the 2009, took top prize at the prestigious Judgement of Parsons Green. Since then the wines have clocked up more Trophies and Golds for both the Brut and the Rosé. Tirelessly tending to her vines, with help from friends and family, she sends her grapes to Henry's winery for crafting into this fine bubbly. Using classic Champagne varieties and method, he does his mum proud. Time for celebration.

Fantastic. This stands equal to Salon or Clos De Goisses. Head and shoulders above it’s price equals Mercier, Moët, Lanson et al.
