Flavour Profile
A bright and fruity Sicilian rosé wine, w/o Nero d’Avola Rosato is crafted by the talented winemaker Dino Taschetta.
We first met Dino when he began restoring his grandfather's earthquake-struck vineyard, high in the Sicilian hills, to make our much-loved Tenuta Fenice. Not one to rest on his laurels, he began another ambitious new project called w/o – wine made without compromise. He started with a Frappato red and now has made us this zingy-fresh rosato from Nero d'Avola. The grapes are all grown organically thanks to Sicily's warm, dry climate and Dino's diligence.
Plus, it comes in a gorgeous bottle made from 100% recycled glass, known as 'Wild Glass’. Each bottle is unique, with subtle imperfections and variations in hue.
With bright berry fruit and pink grapefruit zing of the wine, enjoy this refreshing rosé solo, or with chicken or frittata.
