The flagship red from the award-winning La Viña cellar, it’s made with grapes from a tiny estate – once a 15th-century inn – that’s been in the same family since 1854. Combining local hero Tempranillo with international stars Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, it was matured for 12 months in American oak – adding a note of toasted coconut to the smooth red and black fruit flavours. A fine, complex, fruity wine that goes perfectly with red meats, cured cheeses and herby stews.
