It’s made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes that are particularly ripe and intensely flavoured, but still with that sassy underlying zip of crispness. You’ll find all that in this delicious 2018 – ample passion fruit ripeness and a vivacious leafy freshness. If you’re a Marlborough aficionado you will recognise the wine’s ‘leap from the glass’ gooseberry and cut grass aromas and generous tropical fruit notes. It’s made by an award winning family winery and one of the first to be established in Marlborough, 40-plus years ago.
