Ocho was founded in 2008 by Carlos Camarena, a 5th generation farmer and 3rd generation tequilero (master distiller) and Tomas Estes, responsible for bringing tequila culture to Europe. Both men won numerous awards. Their desire was to prove to the world that, just like fine wine, terroir has a serious influence on the blue weber agave fruit and the production of premium tequila.
