A luscious, fruit-filled, silky Beaujolais Cru. This is top-vintage Fleurie (a year of great quality but low yields due to drought) from a charming 16th-century estate. Look forward to plush cherry and blackberry fruit. A delicious red wine.

The Wine
Fleurie is the queen of Beaujolais – full of silky fruit and lifted floral scents. From the first sip of this fruit-filled 2024, you’ll understand why Beaujolais wines are back on trend. It’s from Maison Dominique Piron, an estate founded during the reign of Louis XIII. It has 95 hectares across the region’s top villages – and this red wine is from their steep, 50-year-old Fleurie vineyard. Dominique was the 14th generation to run the family’s historic 16th-century estate. With no heirs to pass it onto, he teamed up with his old friend Julien Revillon. Their vision is to make Beaujolais as fine as any cru Burgundy – they go to great lengths to do so. Expect ripe cherry and blackberry aromas, with juicy red fruit and a lovely roundness.
