Not only is Chile one of the ‘go to’ destinations for Sauvignon Blanc, Leyda is among its finest regions for this grape. Close to the coast, it’s cooler here, while sunshine and the moderate temperatures bring out the best in this grape. Our Limited Release Sauvignon is a top find from a family estate founded in 1885, winning their first medal in 1910. They've won many prestigious accolades since, including Chile's Winery of the Year three times. Thoroughly modernised in 2006, the family use the original cellars for ageing wines – a wonderful marriage of tradition and modernity. What’s most important, however, is the liquid in the bottle and that's wonderfully crisp and aromatic, citrus and grassy fresh. Delightful solo; tasty with seafood.
