Our Limited Release Pinotage is a secret parcel of one of South Africa’s finest Pinotages.
It’s made by Gerhard Swart, aka the ‘King of Pinotage’. His reds are hallmarked by a perfect balance of power, finesse and elegance. This is normally blended into Gerhard’s top release – which we’re blocked from writing about – but slowing global demand means he’s making a little less. So it’s secretly bottled and labelled, then passed on at discount to you.
Crafted with grapes from some of South Africa’s most famous regions – Stellenbosch, Swartland and Agter-Paarl – this is packed full of intense black and red berries, toasty oak and hints of dark chocolate. Delicious by itself, it pairs well with your favourite red meats on the braai, but especially venison.
