Here we present a showstopper Aussie Shiraz from South Australia’s outstanding Barossa region and one of the founding-father wineries. We can’t say which, but right from the start, 60 years ago, it realised the importance of old vines, Shiraz and the diversity of terroirs within the Valley. Enjoy here a fabulous, rich, dark red, velvety in texture and rich in ripe blackberry, mulberry and dark chocolate notes, with hints of vanilla and oak spice. Open early, even decant to let the full flavours unfurl. A superb match to red meats and other hearty dishes.
