The Story Behind the Bottle
Winemaker Mark Hoddy is the mastermind behind La Voûte, one of our most prized white wines. His goal? To craft a rich, mineral-fresh, Burgundy-style Chardonnay at an affordable price. From the first sip, you might think you’re tasting expensive Meursault, one of Burgundy’s finest whites. Mark sources quality parcels from Limoux in southern France, where grower Bruno Bouché plants vines at 300m to capture cooling Atlantic breezes and the warmth of the Med. The wine is treated like a Grand Cru – barrel-fermented, lees-stirred and aged in fine French oak. The resulting wine brims with ripe fruit, mineral freshness and luxurious creamy richness. Look forward to stone fruit, citrus and spiced apple flavours. Serve chilled and pour generously.
