The Spirit
The Kyrö Distillery Company started as a dream among friends. While drinking whisky in a Finnish sauna, they found themselves wondering why nobody was making rye whisky in Finland. So, they decided to give it a go themselves. While their first batch of whisky was resting in barrels, they thought why not create an additional product? But what? Gin, of course. Their first batch was so good, it sold out in two days. They began experimenting and Kyrö Pink Gin was born. It’s deliciously sweet, made from natural ingredients foraged from Finnish forests. 100% rye based, with red berries and rhubarb, Kyrö Pink Gin is moreish from the very first sip. It received 90 points IWSC in 2022. Enjoy neat in summer or as a warming cocktail in winter.
