Jim Barry Morrison's Clare Valley Riesling 2025

Fresh and bright, Jim Barry Morrison’s Clare Valley Riesling is a citrus-forward white wine from the king of Clare Valley Riesling.
Clare Valley is recognised as the top region for Riesling in Australia, and Jim Barry makes some of the best examples. The original Jim Barry passed his oenology degree in 1947, just the 17th person to do so at the famous Roseworthy College. He worked in the region and bought his first vineyard in 1959. It was his drive and community spirit that made Clare Valley a premium wine region and Riesling its finest grape.
Jim Barry is today run by the second and third generations. They have some of the finest plots in the Valley, including the Armagh, Florita and Morrison’s vineyards. With vines that are more than 40-years-old, Morrison’s Vineyard produces small quantities of grapes that are packed with flavour and is known for producing some of the region’s best Shiraz and, of course, Riesling.
This dry white wine is full of floral aromas with citrusy lemon and lime hints and a little salinity, followed by an intense, fresh and zesty palate of lime, orange zest and mineral undertones. Enjoy chilled, with grilled white fish or BBQ chilli prawns.
