Finally, there are no to low alcohol wines that are worth drinking! Meet Edenvale sparkling – it's from a winery that specialises in no or nearly-zero alcohol wines. It's made from ripe Semillon grapes from South Eastern Australia, as you'd expect, like a proper wine, then the alcohol removed. That is done gently, via a spinning cone process, to ensure that a minimum of aroma and fruit disappears. Share a glass with your guests and see if they realise it has less than 0.5% alcohol. With its stream of bubbles, ripe apple and gentle tropical fruit and lemony-crisp zip, it's great for any occasion – for a party, an apéritif with friends or even a celebration. Chill down and enjoy. It works well with lighter dishes too.
