The Wine
William Fèvre is one of the biggest names in Burgundy. Synonymous with top-quality Chablis, the domaine began in 1959 when William Fèvre, whose family which had lived in the region for over 250 years, declared his first crop. Today, his legacy lives on in the domaine’s 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, including Premier and Grand Cru sites. The domaine works passionately to express Chablis’ terroirs – in particular the quintessential freshness produced by its Kimmeridgian soils. This Chablis uses hand-harvested fruit to combine an elegant bouquet of citrus and white fruits with a core of minerality. 8 to 10 months maturation in stainless steel preserves this freshness. Open early or cellar. Delicious with seafood and creamy dishes.
