Discarded Chardonnay Grape Skin Vodka

The motto of the Discarded Spirits Company is “once wasted, now treasured’, which is exactly how this great new vodka is devised. It’s cleverly crafted from what is usually regarded as a waste product – the leftover grape skins, pips and stems of the Chardonnay grapes (known as pomace), distilled into vodka. It is then combined with another so-called waste product – the liquid left over from dealcoholising a wine which, it was discovered, has the flavour essence of the original grape.
