The Wine
On occasion, premium wineries need to shift some stock to make room for the incoming vintage. It’s at this time that our buyer Dan pounces, making deals to get great quality wines for a more reasonable price. All we need to do is pop a ‘Cleanskin’ label on the bottle to keep the winery’s identity hush hush. What we can tell you about this Clare Valley Shiraz is that it's sourced from one of the oldest wineries in Australia, established in the 1850s. Clare Valley is a top-notch Aussie wine region, especially known for making lime-crisp Rieslings, but also responsible for some world-class reds. This Shiraz is packed with ripe black fruits, pepper, dark chocolate and a gentle violet lift. Delicious paired with a barbecue feast or roasts.
